Long time vet returning have some questions

Featured Replies

So I've decided to come back and try out EoC and try and get back into the game. I've been playing off and on for over 10 years now (10 year cape looks awesome btw). Quite a bit has changed in the past year. I've got my Dungeoneering up to 66 now. Trying to get the bonecrusher and herbicide. Should have both soon. So far I've gotten used to the EoC changes and overall feel for the combat system. Currently saving for the Subjugation set for magic and about to start doing all of the quest I have missed over the past 3-5 years. I've looked at lot of the guides on the forums and on the site. Most of the combat ones seem to be out of date since the EoC changes.

Anyways onto the questions:

Skills are in the signature

1.) Whats the best place to train melee now-days? Preferably some place that has decent profit. Not looking for max exp per hour, but some place that's not super crowed with bots and players. (Herb and bone drops are a plus)

2.) Same for ranged.

3.) Same for magic.

4.) Popular money making methods now-days?

Thanks for the help, any is appreciated :)

Dungeoneering-wise get a chaotic maul.

Best training places are icefiends in Ghorrock for ranged, glacors for magic probably (they should be doable again now), not sure on melee. Slayer's nice for slayer xp + all-round combat xp.

Popular moneymaking includes Nex, Glacors, Queen Black Dragon, Kalphite King, farming, Manage Thy Kingdom and selling leech floors.

Do I even have good enough stats for Nex, Galacors, QBD, and Kalphite King?

Nex and Kalphite King are usually done in teams. In fact, they can only be done in teams. And usually higher level are desired. I also doubt you have the quest requirements for Glacors. As for QBD, while to quest requirement is easy, you may have to invest more into your combat skills, but not as much as the first two. Barrows could be another option for you if you want to do something pvm like. Otherwise, I'd do as many quest I can and slayer to work on combat. A higher slayer level would get you task that can get you a bit of money. However, if you have a bit of capital, one could try merchant-ing on the GE.

Btw, go bucks!

Quest are at the top of my list atm. I have so many to do. Also, how is barrows now after EoC? I remember doing it a few years ago and it was pretty easy.

Barrows is still easy except Akrisae, apparently, who is the seventh brother you haven't unlocked yet.
