Just hit the skull region, i have a week and a half off of work to play so assuming that I can send the next voyages the second mine finish to get all 15 done in a day could I expect even a piece of death lotus before my new job starts?

Nope. Unless you get lucky and can make the helm somehow.

It's practically impossible. trade good missions do not appear until you are in Hook (which is the region after Skull), and they only appear in 1's. Even the tradeable helm requires 30, so you will need to roll an average a specific trade good mission a day until you start working to have a hope, which is, unfortunately, hopeless. In the hook region i'd be lucky to get 1 trade good mission a day.

 

I started ports on the day it came out, and I hit pincers about 3 weeks ago, so I was about a month behind the crowd, and I could only send voyages once daily after I hit hook. It takes more time, but it's not impossible (and certainly more likely than what you are hoping for now)

I'm coming up on Admiral rank and I've only gotten enough resources/scrolls for two hats and two pants. It takes a while. But it shouldn't be too big a deal if you can't send out lots of voyages a day, especially once you unlock more ships and can send out three or four at a time.
