For farming you should do 3 normal tree runs , 1 fruit tree run, 1 special (my choice is the calquat tree) at least; and as many herb runs as you can. Use farming jujus and greenfingers for herbs, and if you want grow watermelons in allotments and prune your jade vine. make sure to do farming challenges when you get them too.

Hopefully someone else can answer your dungeoneering question.

For farming you should do 3 normal tree runs (Yew Tree's take 7 hours, Magic's take 8 hours), 1 fruit tree run (Approx 14 hours to grow Papaya's), 1 special (my choice is the calquat tree, this takes 20 hours, but often 24 due to disease. Best to just do it once/24 hours) at least; and as many herb runs as you can (approx 1 hour 30 apart). Use farming jujus and greenfingers for herbs, and if you want to you can grow watermelons in allotments (can do these straight after a Herb run - finish picking herbs at Catherby, bank and pull out 8 Compost your chosen seeds, various teleports and a watering can. Proceed to carry out the Allotment run, remember Trollheim has no allotment) and prune your jade vine (in Ardougne, 16 hours to grow). Make sure to do farming challenges when you get them too.

Polar got most of it, I just added some amendments :P

Also of note are Morchella's and Spirit Trees. There are also things such as Bushes that one can plant, but they are often not worth the time, doing both herb and tree runs each day is more than enough anyway. http://runescape.wik.../Farming#Bushes

Morchella's are grown in Morytania by the River Salve/Temple Trekking, next to the CKS Fairy Ring once every 4 hours. 1 seed is used to produce 9 mushrooms, the yield can be doubled with the completion of Morytania Elite. Completion of Morytania Medium tasks prevents the patch from becoming diseased. Morchella's used to rake in a few hundred k gp per day, but now they pull in a lot less - approx 32k/4hours harvesting 9 each time, so you can pull roughly 192k gp per day from Morchella's.

Spirit Trees take 2.5 days to grow and can be grown in one of three locations: Etceteria, Brimhaven and Port Sarim. Only one tree can be grown at a time at level 83, but two can be grown after level 86 (provided you have completed The Prisoner of Glouphrie quest. Spirit Trees yield a total of 19.5k xp (planting + checking health) so they are a great way to supplement your farming xp.

In order to best go about Farming, there are a few items that will come in handy. Farming Juju's and Greenfingers Aura, Polar has already listed, but items such as the Ectophial, Explorer Ring 4, Ardougne Cloak 4, Falador Shield 4, Magic Secateurs, the Magic Watering Can and Lunar Magics are all equally (if not, more) useful. I won't go into detail on how to get such things, but I will briefly list their benefits.

Farming Juju's - increase your crop yield on Herb and Allotment patches. Each dose last's 5 minutes.

Greenfingers - prevents your crops from becoming diseased for the duration of the Aura (also provides a less effective farming juju effect that can stack with its counterpart).

Ectophial - teleport to Port Phasmatys (spelling idk), the fastest way to access the "Ecto" Farm patch. This is a key item.

Explorer RIng 4 - fastest way to access the Port Sarim/Falador farm patch with the "Cabbage Teleport", of unlimited use. This could be swapped for a teleport to Player Owned Ports, but that is not advised.

Ardougne Cloak 4 - provides unlimited teleports to the Ardougne farm patch. Medium and Hard tasks provide only one teleport/day, Elite tasks provide unlimited. This can be swapped for use of the Ardougne lodestone or a Lunar Magic teleport. The Cloak is fastest however.

Falador Shield 4 - Increases the farming experience gained at the Port Sarim farm patch by 10%. Must be equipped.

Magic Secateurs - Increases yield by 10% on all allotments and herb patches.

Magic Watering Can - a watering can that never needs refilling. Key for allotments.

Lunar Magics - prodides teleports to Catherby, Trollheim (requires partial completion of Livid Farm) and North Ardougne. The Fertise Soil spell can be used in place of Supercompost at each patch, and the Cure Plant spell can be used to stop disease. Partial completion of Livid Farm can also yield the Remote Farming spell, this can be used to check the status and cure any of your farming patches from anywhere you so happen to be.

I think that's everything - if I missed stuff, sod it, I did this from memory.

Lunar Spell Book is really the best book you should be using for farming so you should really be doing Livid Farm to unlock spells. If you are combat heavy you'll be switching between that and ancients but if you are willing to give us a neck spot you can unlock and use Borrowed Power which allows you to cast all the wave spells without changing. If you haven't already, you should complete the following quest: Ghost Ahoy, A Love Story (for making house tele tabs you can use in place of Lunar teleports until you unlock them), and Fairy Tails III.

FYI: Spirit Seeds are untradeable. Best way to get them are monster drop (Ganodermic Beast are good for those at higher slayer levels) and Vinesweepr.
