February 14, 200620 yr I recently discovered this band, their music is so wonderfully calm that it makes me forget all my worries. For the people that do not know them but also like something apart from rock, Sigur RÃÆÃâÃâós is a band from Iceland that makes music that isn't really comparable with anything else. But to give you a clue: a mix between massive attack, radiohead, a touch of Moby and classical music. I find this music to be some of the best music I've ever heard and I thought I couldn't leave you guys without a little notification about them. February 14, 200620 yr I've been trying to get into this group, as in I like the music but I can't ever find the right mood to listen to it. It's definately (for me at least) not the kind of music you can listen to at any time, it's definately more somber and relaxing than uplifting. It's good stuff though.

February 14, 200620 yr Yea, I really like there music. It was something I never heard before. I got into them via the movie "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou", they make a part of music in it. I really liked that so I bought their latest album "Takk", it's very good. I wouldn't really call it calm, it's pretty heavy music I think, not something you put on while driving the car or something, but that's the way the music gets over to me of course. :) And, their leadsinger is homosexual and blind on one eye, so that makes them extra hip.
