December 10, 201312 yr I was training cooking at the Grand Exchange when someone came up to me and asked something. While cooking, I'm watching TV so I responded like two minutes later. I apologized and said that I was watching television. The guy answered that he reported me for not actually playing the game but still earning xp. He said it's against the rules, and said that I just admitted breaking the rules and that I'd soon be banned. Will I be getting banned for that?

December 11, 201312 yr certain jagex already commented that it was okay a while back. As long as there really is no cheating, and this isnt, it should be fine.
December 12, 201312 yr Are you serious? I play RuneScape while watching YouTube videos all the time. How the hell is that against the rules? It's not like I'm not actively playing the game. Wow, this thread really scared me. I watch YouTube videos (and sometimes movies and TV shows) to keep myself entertained while doing what I do in RuneScape. Please tell me I'm not in trouble.
December 12, 201312 yr There is a difference between afk training and multi-tasking. Afk training is bankable, yet very uncommon and multi-tasking is tolerable as long as you are in front of your computer. The log out timer was made to prevent abuse. You should have nothing to worry about. Sattern.
