What to use festive aura on?

Featured Replies

I've already used my aura to reach my goal of 90 theiving, and am just wondering what would be a good way to use it up now.

I have around 3k of those stackable planks that I'm going to use on construction, but after that I don' really know what would be best.

Why not use it on Herblore so you get 99 in that skill? Unless you warband it. which you shouldn't do because its more efficient to hunt for mining supplies @ warbands

Using it for Construction every day atm. Building mahogany tables with sacred clay hammers + festive aura is 2,520xp per table which is insane, also combining it with the afk construction from the world event. Massive daily gains.

Because I'm ~300k away and plan to get it while I make overloads

I think I'll do construction. How long does it last if you turn pvp off to max your points?

takes about an hour to max with pvp off, really no reason to have it off though, even if you're on bandos you should be able to find a world with a siphon that no one is at so that you can just have pvp on and not worry about dying

Inefficiency = fun. That's objective and can't be debated. Ever.

Blog to 200m in all skills.

Max cape achieved November 5th, 2011.

Completionist cape achieved December 29th, 2011.

Final Boss title achieved December 28th, 2014.

Trimmed completionist cape achieved November 7th, 2015.

Yeah, I'm always PvP enabled and have never been attacked once. Just go to a node with a bunch of faction allies.

Also, it would run out the aura potentially quickly but if you do farming tree runs, activate it before you check health on your fruit trees/calquat/normal trees, I'd imagine that'd be massive daily farming XP.

I'd suggest using it on expensive skills like construction, summoning or herblore. You will be glad you chose one of those skills as you would save a headache and a load of cash.

Not on Construction or Herblore -> Warbands = free exp in those 2 (and 4 others) skills.

Summoning is a fast skill and later on very very cheap in comparison to some other skills. The major drawback of the skill is the vast preparation required. Not really a reason to use festive on.

Please if you give advice make sure your advice is sound.

For those of us that abhor warbands I would disagree about the first two, however I totally agree about summoning. It's close to 2 mil exp/hr once you have the charms which come naturally through training any combat and especially slayer. As you get the the higher levels (where most of your exp is gained anyway). Using crimsons and blues you can get under 6 gp/exp which is dirt cheap compared to most of the buyables these days.

Okay than this: Construction is at a good rate about 750k+ exp/h as is Herblore.

These skills are way too fast to be done with something as a festive aura.

Things can be considered in 2 ways: Time or Money.

Ideally you want to train something that maximize at around 200k/h due this being both a 15 min saving as maximizing the exp you get from Aura.
