Fixing my Verac's helmet now is more expensive than before.

Featured Replies

In the past it costed me 60K coins to repair the Verac's helm.

Now it costs me 180K coins. Seriously, is there ANY good reason for this? What is the point of it costing now three times it used to cost?

To be honest, this isn't bothering me THAT much as 180K coins is still pretty easy to obtain, but I still find it ridiculous price to fix a helmet.

Cost me 3m to repair dual chaotic crossbows from <5%... :/

The price it costs to repair it goes down if you fix it yourself.

“I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”

“Do you have any regrets?”

“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is how it was meant to be.”

“Huh, you never really notice how lovely the day is until you realize you’ll never see it again.”

“Mmmhmm.”

It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

The cost was increased because it used to be trivial, especially compared to the kind of gp/h you ought to be making at t70 and t80.

You know what? That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for explaining it to me.

With your construction and smithing levels it would also be much cheaper to build an armour stand in your house and repair it that way if it's bothering you that much. As an elaboration of what Aiel said above.

Inefficiency = fun. That's objective and can't be debated. Ever.

It is not really a big deal as 180K coins is easy to obtain.

But I will do what you guys suggested and build that armor stand in my house and use that from now on to fix my Verac's helmet, thanks guys. :-D

  • 3 weeks later...

The armor stand really helps, but for me, it still costs a lot more than how much it used to at 82 smithing. Bit again, i guess it's because its easier to earn gold now and the game needs more money sinks
