Me_Hate_Libs Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 I just finished the Cabin Fever quest and bough the Rapier in Mos' Le Harmless. But on the stats, why the heck is the Rapier a slashing weapon? If you know anything about mideval weaponry, rapiers were thin stabbing weapons. A lot of the threads on here are questions in one way or another, like, "What do you think will happen with pking with the new monster update?" Most of the Help and Advice board questions have a definitive Yes or No answer, and that's the end of it. We can discuss this one further. It really belongs here, or the Discussions or suggestions board, but's it's not a HUGE problem. But yes, you could have searched for a very related topic. Smavey Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 I hateee acting like this but yeah, although a rapier is mostly a stabbing weapon it does have a blade, (usually 1 sided, but sometimes is 2 sided), and can be used for slashing. It's a sabre that would be appropriate for the name of the weapon. It's a foil or an ̮̩̉̉p̮̩̉̉e that you are thinking of that is for thrusting.
