I never ever take off boots or cape, whichever one I have, whether it be boots of lightness or rune boots, newb red cape or god cape. Basically, you'll never see me without boots and a cape unless I'm changing them. :XD:

It's a person's choice. I think one reason is the looks, some people like black, some like white. Others are just picky about stats, they'd rather have that +2.
