Is there something I'm missing?If by "fail" you mean "your adventurer did not find anything on the island you visited" it's because you selected the incorrect island to sail to. In order to guarantee the correct island, you need to build map tables in your port. The islands highlighted by the map tables are the islands you need to sail to; go to the bar and right-click the adventurer to select the correct island.
