BigChad Posted February 22, 2006 Share Posted February 22, 2006 This might sound dumb but school was boring and this is what I was thinking about (yes im a looser). Anyway what would be more suitable for an 100th quest than a massive battle between good and evil. This would be the longest quest ever 5 times longer than desert treasure. Depending on your god you would either fight for the good side (sara) evil side (zamy) and maybe a alternative path could be worked in for Guthix followers. On the good side I pictured Elves,Dwarfs,Gnomes,Wizards, and of course the White Knights. Then on the evil side I was thinking of Chaos Warriors, Dark Wizards, Black Knights, and demons. On conclusion of this quest you would have the option to buy a God Blade depending on the side you served. It would be the best weapon in game but you would have to do this extensive quest then pay a large sum of maybe around 5 mil. Now I made up this quest just to throw that in as an award cuz I have always dreamed of an all powerfull sword since I read the 2nd book of the Briar King series. Anyway I was thinking the sara version would have a blue aura around the sword while the zamy had a red. It would be a pretty large sword but had the option of 1 handed or 2 handed. When being used in 1 hand you can weild your shield but the accuracy wont be as high and in the 2 hand mode you cant use a shield but the accuracy will be higher and you would deal more damage. Maybe this is to far fetched for a game like runescape but I can wish cant I. Please give suggestions,constructive criticism, or flame me I just want to here everyones opinions on this. [Edit] Since this would be such a powerful weapon maybe you would need a recuirement of 80 or 90atk to make sure alot of low lvls cant do some power training with it. jessy87 Posted February 22, 2006 Share Posted February 22, 2006 how about insane requiremtents? like lvl 70's of stuff like magic and to weild it you need to pledge your allegiance and kill a disciple of the opposing gods this kind of weapon would need to be in accessible to pures. like lvl 60 def to wield +80 attack and 70 str. Also what if they quest took lvl 50 in every skill and the blade took 80 attack, str, and def to weild? ddun Posted February 22, 2006 Share Posted February 22, 2006 To tell you the truth when I clicked on this thread that I was gonna end up reading some stupid idea. Well I was wrong.... This is a brilliant idea. A long quest is something that runescape needs, something that will challenge even the best. Most people are able to do a quest in a small amount of time. I personally dont like doing quests unless they challenge me. This could also bring a new aspect to the game, good vs. evil. I would write more but I need to go. Also make sure the blade has whip speed. i would say aroudn 85 or 90 atk, str, def, and maybe even maged and ranged if it involves it Retired from runescape. Jain_Charin Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 desert treasure was easy... at 95 combat at least :lol: i ended up killing the last guy with a rune pic cuz u cant use magic on him :( anyway on topic 70+ skill req is insane i doubt jagex would ever make a quest like that and once the quest was finished what would happen would good win or evil? i guess depending on what you chose but then how would the whole rs world be affected would it become evil or good? or would it stay the same? having a quest that defeats a good or evil source would have to affect the whole rs world in some way and after that the game would just be done...like a normal consol game i guess Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
