ANNOUNCEMENT:

After being assaulted by certain people during the Honest1 Productions Waterballoon fight. These people are now permanently BANNED from winning Honest1 Productions contests of any type, unless stated otherwise by a member of higher seniority than myself:

Ult Mac Daddy

C 00l Ranger

Magic1139

BANNED FOR LIFE

Also note: Barnesydabe, ON PROBATION - will be allowed to re-join H1p events in June.

These people demonstrated mental incompetency at following rules and regulations, and respecting their event hosts.

This event has been deemed OVERTURNED by it's host, myself, and therefore no prize has been awarded, that prize consisting of: 50,000 gold coins, 1000 mind runes, 1000 air runes.

As the primary planner of this event, I would just like to express my utter disapointment at a few irresponsible and immature players.

Events like this take planning. A lot of planning. However, obviously, every outcome cannot be predicted or accounted for, especially when certain disrespectful players decide to take it upon themselves to crash it. On behalf of all those who turned up expecting a good fight, and on behalf of the whole H1P, I would like to thank the minority that destroyed this party, for wasting my time and the time of the team, for wasting the time of all the people who turned up. Thank you very much.

There is one consoling factor. The fact that these people have exposed themselves now for being complete idiots, and so we can ban them from all future events to make sure this does not happen again. The prize money will now be used in other events.

I apologise to everybody who turned out to this event. I'm sorry that you were disappointed. I sincerely hope that the actions of this handful of people does not influence your view of H1P, and I hope that you continue to come to our events. Once again, I'm sorry that this event turned out the way it did.

H1P Presents: Water Balloon Fight!

Yes, its that time of year again, the time for the first water balloon fight of the season! Bagsy I get the Hose!

Date: Saturday 18th March, 2006

Time:

7.00 PM GMT

5.00 AM ACT (Australia - Sunday 19th March)

1.00 PM CST

11.00 AM PST

2.00 PM EST

Can't find your time?

Where: Runescape F2P, Edgeville

World: 7

What: Join us in the glorious slaughter using water balloons!

Details: This is a F2P event, meaning all can participate. We will meet in Edgeville at the time shown above. We will set off from Edgeville 5 minutes past the hour, and head for an unknown destination, to deter PK'ers. Please follow a member of our team, or Blipo, to be taken to the battleground! We can be recognised as we are wearing Black Robes with a wooly hat and scarf. Please do not attack our referee, Blipo, he is judging the last man standing.

Bring only Air runes, Water runes and Mind runes, or replace with a water or air staff, as we are using Water Strike. You may not use Water Bolt or Water Blast, as this gives a distinct unfair advantage. You may wear clothing, but remember that you WILL die, skulled, so nothing that you cannot afford to lose. Food IS allowed.

Do not bring anything you cannot afford to lose, as you WILL die during this event. H1P cannot be held responsible for any items lost.

When all but one has died, they will be crowned the champion and given a 50k reward. Then, we will all meet in Falador park to burn the place down and dry off. You know it makes sense!

Prizes: 50k to the last man standing

Questions to be directed at Calvernator (Hobgoblin11), Blipo or Honest1.

Sounds like fun, how come your not using Water strikes because water is Blue and the Water strikes ARE BLUE?

what about gear? i mean its f2p, but i would imagine people would bring along blue mage outfits, magic ammies, anti dragon shields, boots, capes, gloves, maybe monks robes and holy symbols, all of which cost next to nothing (water staff and magic ammy only things worth picking up)

are people allowed to use protection prayers? are their any rules?

Please read the post. Protection prayers are not allowed as many people do not have them. There are no rules except for the following:

1. Only attack each other when told to do so by a H1P member (we can be recognised by wearing black robes, and a wooly hat and scarf)

2. Do not attack Blipo, as he is our referee.

3. The only spell allowed is Water Strike, and Magic is the only form of combat permitted. It will be no fun if peple start whipping out their rune scimmy whenever they begin to die.

That is all, apart from that it is pretty much a free game. The only request I have is that if you see a PK'er, everyone owns him, as I hate PK'ers!

The fight is on March 19th, although there is some confusion over the date at the moment, what with time differences and whatever, so this may change. H1P members are taking stuff to deal with PK'ers, yes, so you do not need to worry about that. In the past Pk'ers have not caused us any trouble, they tend to watch, or run away

We've been having some problems lately, so it's been hard to get events going. (Ex. Bank problem)

But I'm glad to say we're back on track! If I'm not mistaken, we have a costume contest coming up soon, if we can find one more host for the event.

I think some people might get confused about the time. Eastern Standard Time (EST) is one hour ahead of CST, so the EST time should be 2:00 PM.

I should be there, as long as baseball practice doesn't get in the way
