It was the James Dean of cars. So much so, it was so cool that only the good guys drove Mustangs, while the cooler bad guys drove Chargers. The Mustang image has been torn up by today's standards, but it was always in the wake of the Charger. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Now the dodge challengers are bad ace. Thing about mustangs though is back in the day they cost half as much as the comaros and ate them up on the street. dark_ice Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 I really don't care for any of the recent models of Mustangs. For the past few years every models have looked almost exactly identical. And, no matter how much you customize it, its always gonna look like a Mustang, because you can't really do all that much to them. The old models were nice however, but Chargers are better. E_K Posted March 7, 2006 Share Posted March 7, 2006 u do know that the mustang always had the weakest motor and up till 1969 wernt even consider muscle cars? what does engine size have to do with anything? anyone can mod the crap out of a car and make it faster than whatever car they want so really the only way to compare cars is stock vs stock and then theres price range to look at, i'd expect a $40,000 sports car to be faster than a $20,000 sports car wouldn't you? so for the sake of example, stock 302's took stock 305's in the 1/4 mile, not by like a huge difference but what do you expect out of two engines about the same size putting out about the same hp in 2 cars that weigh about the same 302 is a ford engine and a 305 is a chevy engine for those who didn't know so go ahead pull up next to me in your camaro, rev your engine a little, im going to be waving as you fly away and i continue on with whatever it is im doing take it to the track Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
