uk_swat
T.W.A.T Stands for "The war against terror" ,this is a serious thread brought to my attention while watching the news and seing newspapers. All i seem to be hearing on the news is that we have a influx of new soliders going into iraq, bagdad kuwait etc.. to Bring a halt to this terror. To be honest i think most of the problems come from us having our troops in there causing the iraqis to rebel which causes fightin, deaths then another influx of soldiers going in. I want you all to discuss really where the problem is coming from and how you think it should be solved in the best way if that is still possible. 23 whip pks,3 dhorka,2 ahrims lvl 119 attack 99 strength 99 and defence 92 plus 94 mage

Its just a complete waist of the american and britsh troops time being there, this problem should be solved by the people who gouvern the other countrysthats the thing. from what ive heard, correct me if im wrong, the countries that american troops are being sent to cant properly defend themselves. When Iraq (i think) had its first democratic vote, tensions were high, because everybody thought that terrorists would strike. so yes, i do believe we should be there, and i completely support our troops, but instead of sending in more troops, we have to train their people to defend themselves. dusqi
I like T.W.A.T. ...actually I don't, but I just wanted to say that anyway. I was against sending in the troops. However, now that they're in there, I'm in favour of keeping them there, until they help to clean up the mess they've made. Iraq would descend into civil war without the troops there. For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one.

Howie101
Jay and Silent Bob Reference there There is also another pseudonym for the female area but it is more recognized so I won't say it. And even if this is not a joke, there are too many people who think they know what's best for this country and they will argue it endlessly leading to spam -Howie

But as someone previously stated, Im for backing the troops, not backing the cause.
Barihawk
The troops are not the problem, its racial and religious hatred. The only thing keeping them in cheque was fear of Saddam. Now that he is gone and both Shi'ite and Sunni's can practice freely, extremists on both sides are screwing it up for eachother. And they are pissed at the US for trying to keep the peace between them. Anti-war people always try to make it out like the entirety of Iraq hates us, when most greeted us with open arms. There are a handful of people in every country who resist change, and unfortunately they have very violent tendencies in the Middle East. So do I support our troops? Yes. Did I support the war in the first place? Yes. Anyone who dares to tell our troops that they are fighting for a worthless cause in my book deserves to be hung for treason. Especially if they make that known to the troops...which in my opinion is even more damaging than any enemy bullet will ever be. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

Barihawk
You are more than welcome to dissaprove of the war, thats not what I said. But pulling a Michael Moore and telling them that they are fighting and dying for nothing is the most inconsiderate thing I can think of. Thats like me walking up to you in the street, punching you in the stomach, spitting on your face and rubbing your head in the dirt. Then walking away telling you your existence is meaningless. So, opinions are fine. Condemning our troops is another. If you feel like beating on anyone, go to the top of the ladder. I love Bush, but I would rather you rag on him then ragging on the guys and gals in the field following orders.
