DiabloCopy
You googled something, cropped it and now you are expecting praise like the second comming of Jesus. + you can't just crop something for 20 seconds and say it has a simplistic artistic theme?!? Waiting to hear your witty responce, please... 5/10 the cropping in the middle is horrible
How2PK
praise like the second comming of Jesus, saying it has a simplisctic artistic theme, crop something for 20 seconds, witty responses? I don't think I'm gonna bother writing a 'witty' response. Seriously, I make a new signature, I post a topic about it here, most people only give critism on how it's made, they don't look much further than that. I've got the right to defend myself then, right? I mean, surely I know it's a picture from google, I even said it in my opening post. I haven't got the ability to make something as good as lets say The_Jeppoz, or Venomai (just examples) who make a signature of a runescape character, or an avatar of a peer/pear, so I make something else out of something that's made before. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
Scruffy5389
I'm with you, How2PK. I almost made a spam post in off-topic just to comment on your new sig. I like it :D To everyone else: of course it wasn't hard to make. But what is the point of a signature image in the first place? It's not necessarily to showcase fine artistic technique. It's supposed to be expressive and unique. On these forums, your sig and avatar is like your face, and I have a lot more respect for a simple, distinctive image like this one than half the abstract or overly labored and stylized stuff I see. Maybe the abstract fancy-pants sigs display great technical skill, but something like this shows actual life. There's actually a mind back there thinking about aesthetics and personal meaning. It's the anti-cliche. Some of you artistes need to go back and remember what the point of art is in the first place.

I think when you say "simple little red dots" you're talking about modern art? In which case I agree with you. taking a great expressive work and butchering it CAN be expressive, but here it is just BUTCHERING I guess we're looking for different styles of expression in a signature :(

Quer_Skulll
people throw two buckets of paint against one of those things to paint on and it's called art (very fun to do). people create something simple like a star on a piece of steel(my logo, trademark) wich has a poetic meaning and it's called art. this is art. everything is art when you think about it. even the words spoken by the mouth of a stranger is art, if you think about it. and i like the sig. for one reason that it was created by you and yes people work that way before anyone starts argueing, everyone has that. for a second reason it apeals, disrupting life, not a circle of life, nooo to me that is something different. good work.
