new dragon pick and dragon axe update

ok the way i look at it since jagex realeased the dragon axe they recieved a very bad response woodcutters moaned that it was no better than a rune one, miners moaned that they didnt have a dragon pick and poor people (by poor i mean people unable to waste several mill on an authority symbol) so i was thinking and i came up with the ultimate soloution:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. dragon axe becomes better than rune axe

 

 

 

2. dragon pick is realeased dropped by dagganoths same chance of getting as dragon axe

 

 

 

3. this is most important the special attacks are changed so that they are no longer combat based but rather skill based, they both get you some wood or ores (depends upon what your chopping/cutting e.g rune rock would give 2 ores but clay 10) and also increase the related skill slightly

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

well tell me what you think i thought it would make veryone happy but i would like to hear other views.

I think this is an excellent idea, honestly why would you give the dragon axe a pvp spec.. i've yet to see one person pking , dueling or fighting in the pits with a dragon axe.

well those people could be lieing, you should get the axe first and try it for yourself and see the results if its true then i agree with ya

This is great, currently the dragon axe is all but useless, instead of trying to make them weapons, the axe and pick should be made to increase your skill, as of right now the dragon axe is a very overpriced rune axe.

I always thought it was pretty obvious that once they release the Dragon Pickaxe that the Dragon axe will be upgraded.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In my opinion, the only reason the Dragon Axe isn't better than rune is because they haven't released the Pickaxe, yet. Once they do, I'm sure it'll make sense for them to make them better for skill-based abilities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why they didn't just release both at the same time an make them upgrades from rune, is beyond me...but ah well.

When the Dragon lets fly its big big big, sorry sounds like Yogi Bear. But even if you didnt see it fly off the end of your axe handle it lies there like a big red flag.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Considering what players have to go through to kill for these items, yes we should rightly expect them to be far superior.

i dont see why the dragon axe is saw as a wep, yet it is weaker than the dragon dagger and the dagger is quicker

1. it would'nt be fair on the people who have already got there wc to 99

yeh but if your lvl 99 wc already then in a way your in the best position the reap the rewards of a better than rune axe after all you can use it harvest magic tress mega fast
