There are top 20 clans which a lot of people could name off.

 

 

 

A stadium should be made to make their official wars could become safer from attacks and excuses cant be made up for losing as easy.

 

 

 

There would be a forum and many forum mods/jagex staff devoted to this if it happend. The official challenge would have to be talked about on the forum. Then a date would be set and each clan would have till a day before then to register all the people showing up to the war. The clans would be given color coded capes when the war began like castle wars or jagex can decide some other idea for showing the teams during combat.

 

 

 

The stadium would look like this horrible illustration [:|:]

 

[ ] = the outside walls of the Stadium

 

 

 

|= gate that seperates where the teams gather and set up combat formations. the gate will raise when the battle begins.

 

 

 

: = people

 

 

 

Anyway the fight will happen and it will give a count no the screen of how many opponents each team has and everytime someone dies that teams count lowers.

 

 

 

At the end of the fight the prize if a prize is staked will be given to the chosen leaders on the forums and or distributed between the victorious clan.

 

 

 

The winner will be announced on the forum and an official leader board will be held on the forum also, this will be done to make so it is known who the top clans are instead of letting people argue it.

 

 

 

This could be an island where the stadium.

yeh that is needed but whats with all the forum talk lol..

 

they could make it ingame.. like castle wars :) and have a ladder where you can read wins losses draws.. etc. (ingame).

Jagex should get a clan thing going.

if jagex wanted official clans in runescape, they probably would have made them long ago. they probably have their reasons for not having proper clans, because im sure lots of people had asked and begged and pleaded and suggested and all to no use

clan wars in the wildy can go so far. There are always excuses, gate crashers and other problems.

 

 

 

it would be nice if their was like a battlefield landscape/arena sort of thing where it was set up for the two warring factions and outsiders can only view it not participate. Also you should lose items and perhaps even a staking feature.

 

 

 

Also perhaps a clan feature in which you can read upcomming news, war times, member list, chat, average hp, average combat, war scores.

I agree with the original idea. Some kind of place where it can be ONLY the two clans fighting would be a great feature. However Jagex, in their infinite wisdom, would probably make it p2p. And as most clans are p2p and f2p, it wouldn't necessarily be very helpful.

 

 

 

Either way, that would be nice. And overall, Jagex's clan support/organization has always been pathetic compared to other games. I think most people have gotten used to the current system after more than 5 years, but a little change from Jagex would be nice.

this would only work if runescape had official clans, with a recognized leader who could make these kinds of arrangements. the leader of each clan could select 5 of his clanmates for a 5 vs 5 mini war/duel, and only those members could be in the clash.

i agree, this should be f2p as well and it could be on an island that u could go to by taking a ship ride from port sarim...free of course. 5 arenas so multiple clans could go at once. Would be gates like u said, would open after 5 minutes after entering. Trouble is how would u get both of the clans only on the teams....Capes maybe? There would be say 20 capes on tables, the clans would discuss wat team somewhere else. You can only hold one cape at a time...i don't know.

I like this, other people can get inbetween clan wars and it can be annoying
