Well I been slowly, but surely doing illustrations of each (good) character from my books and I am nearly half way throuhg now (5/14)

Willow and Sari ones are the best ones of the lot so far I think.

I personally didn;t think they were that similar

 

 

 

I know faces match because doing pixel faces got me gd at doing faces

 

but past that I don;t see any similarities in the style really

Willow:

 

 

 

willow's... eyes .. make her look cooocooo for coco puffs.

 

one eye is pointed up... the other sorotve down. those ugly dots or whatever dont help either. the thumb on her left hand is opposite of where it should be unless she's tiwsting it. good stance but... looks disturbing.

 

 

 

Sonnet:

 

 

 

looks like he is holding a banjo, fire isnt usually dark.... as i can remember... make it the brightest thing in the scene. his left leg should placed a little farther back. skinny hands for a strong warrior, ... looks like he shaves his legs too. (plus i dont think i would be smiling friendly like when holding a flaming fire ball in my right hand. maybe a triumphant grin?)

 

 

 

Chang:

 

 

 

also looks a little out of it. eyes are crossed. (and why does everybody seem to have long hair so far?) i like the scarf. is the robe transparent or is that staff.... just weird like that? (you can see it in some of the robe.)

 

 

 

Gorn:

 

 

 

(another person with the SAME hair style.) his hand looks a little loose on that giant axe that manages to balance (i mean the thing must weigh like 30-50 lbs right? no way he would want balance it without a tight grip. might loose a toe!) his shoe looks like the armour, is it a giant suit? cape is a little short, his left arm looks a little... mutated (are there some veins pulsing there? creepy... the armour looks like it got torn off there) he should be holding on to his shield too, it would like cut off his circulation if that stuck on to his arm without a little bit of his hand support. (oh one more thing, axe is a little 2d)

 

 

 

Sari:

 

 

 

nice wings, but she looks too simple for such an angelic thing like her. she looks japaneesee too (if that was the intention then by all means you got it done) that bow string looks a little loose... dont know how she could fire it like that.. needs to get it fixed. she can turn her head pretty far for being turned in the opposite direction. other things are wrong with her left arm too but.. yeah.

eye hadn't actually noticed tht, the dots arre beads or such like on a strand of hair tht hangs over her face, it blends into the face on the scan, but it is there. Thumb dun get what u mean, thumb is towards front of her hand and it comes under the handle

 

 

 

Sonnet:

 

First big point its a FEMALE

 

Flame i see ur point, Sonnet is the 2nd worse. As for strength only her armour is that warrior like, she is essentially a mage

 

 

 

Chang:

 

The staff is meant to be see thru

 

 

 

Gorn:

 

Shoes I did lose the join, but they r meant to be armoured. Shield he would normally grip but he is knelt with tht hand on floor for balance. Dun really know bout grip but can give it a shot

 

As for the other 2 points both r the cape, it hasn't worked quite right. but the left hand edge of the cape has blown forwards and is now wrapped across the arm as it is blown to the side hence y other side is short

 

 

 

Sari:

 

Bow string, dun exactly know why i did it tht lose, may tighten it up a bit.

 

 

 

she is vaugely based upon anime style people, but she isn't meant to be angellic. All these character are very muhc advneturers

 

 

 

 

 

As for your main issue hair:

 

Sonnet - long hair down over her back in brown

 

Chang - shoulder length blkac hair

 

Willow - Very long blonde hair with red plait ova face

 

Gorn - shoulder length black, so yeah matches chang

 

Sari -juts voer shoulder length black hair with purple and blue streaks

 

 

 

Kind of period ths4ese charatcer r set in male hair style not really got much variety and the girls do juts hard to do without colours

 

 

 

I may change some points, i may not depends i have time, but thts my responces to ur comments

i didnt think that arms are two ovals :lol: sari or whatever are way to wierd for arms. Also, the arms for the night are whatever are kinda basic and too bulgy. look at some books or osmethin and youll get it
