Sometimes when you're in a bank, or close to a bank, or really where ever you are, someone will come up to you and pester you to buy something.

 

 

 

So I was cutting trees in Draynor and someone comes up and say "Hi Waffleh." I said hi back, even though I didn't know this person, and they said "Want to buy some seeds?" I said no thanks, but he followed me around for at least ten minutes as I went back and forth to the bank. I told him to leave me alone and to stop being such a n00b, because I really don't want to buy any seeds. He told me the "f" word and a bunch of other "obscene" words, so I finally buckled down and reported him.

 

 

 

After I said, "Reported for offensive language, please stop following me!" he said "Reported for callimg me a n00b!" and logged out.

 

 

 

I'm not paranoid about being banned from RS, but is the word "n00b" or "noob" really bad enough to get you banned? I mean, you see it everyday, everywhere, where ever you are. I, personally, don't think it is, but what do you guys think?

It's the stupidest, most idiotic, most overused word on the game. Using will never get you what you want, only causes more trouble, makes you sound immature, and pretty much causes people to wnat you to just stop playing.

The way I first learned the word "n00b" was about two years ago on Neopets. It wasn't considered rude, it was considered the name you call someone when they are immiture, etc. Just like "newbie" is the name for someone new, but that's not rude.

i just dont like saying or hearing the word noob, n00b, newb, newbie.. or anything that sounds like it. Really it sounds like the person who says it is a five year old. Most people use this word as an insult such as your a noob becuase ur hogging all the coal, you wont sell me what ur wearing, or i am mad cuz ur better than me. They replace calling people "stupid", "greedy", "selfish" with that stupid word. People that use this word are people that cant debate or ague to someone about what they dont like. But yes most people use this dumb word because it DOES offend fragile people that have no backbone.

- First of all im not flamming you... i just hate this word and agree with people that it should be taken out... and like i said noob in runescapes usually is meant as an insult to whoever they are speaking to... so if u call someone a "noob" they are more than likely going to take offence even if ur not trying to. ....
