I havnt exactly done the quest yet, but are you not gathering a large amount of diffrent types of bones to build a monster that is evil? that sounds a whole like that one story where this one person takes parts of people and stitches them togather to make another person... Oh yeah, frankenstein. Which is based on old folk stories from britain... ~M
April 21, 200620 yr I've seen popular media references all over. Fortunato in Draynor, an obvious reference to 'The Casque of Amontillado' by E.A.P is it anything other than the name that is the same? and if so, where is he in draynor so i might check it out? (just a bit curious)
April 21, 200620 yr in the rag and bones quest u have to get body parts for the creature in the bag the quest before it was made by a long forgoten evil power that will rise again.yes i know its refering to zaros there but anybody who has read harry potter books or seen the last movie will see the refrence to how voldamort had to be brought back with another persons hand and harrys blood ect ect i thought it was clever :lol: the mage training arena is a parady of harry potter. The wands, the animated paintings, the weird creatures, and the talking hat (in refernece to the sorting hat from harry potter), not to mention the infinity hat is the type used by witches in harry potter movies.
April 21, 200620 yr hey you know the quest, the golem? it is just like the book! there are 2 books, amulet of samarkand (no.1) and the golem(no.2) in the golem theres a spirit that is programed by a bit of papyrus written with special ink but the thing is is that the ink is a persons blood and soul and so by the time they have finished writing it, the person is dead. ano so people, that book is legend! look it up on google if your not sure... :wink:
