jepa69
Ok this is for peeps who dont know yet remember to tell peeps this too in game! DONT KILL THE SOUTH SHIFTER! reason:If you have a south shifter it protects the knight from rangers and magers wich can hit 15. Thank you for considering this, and yes i know about the other countless topics just wanted to make sure it gets out there. At the moment i can't really see the full form of the muffin. SaxRox
Quite simply... any Shifter that is next to the Void Knight protects the Knight from ranged (Defiler) and mage (Torcher) attacks. The East and West Portals usually get taken out first, which leaves the Southwestern and Southeastern Portals to keep spawning monsters. This being the case, the South Gate usually ends up with tons of monsters waiting to get in or fire long-range attacks at the Void Knight. By leaving any Shifter that is directly to the South of the Void Knight, those Shifters act as blockers from any missile attacks. Once these Shifters get killed by some unknowing fool, we notice a barrage of Defiler and Torcher attacks upon the Knight, usually ending with said Knight's sudden and painful death, as well as a failed mission. (And a few people muttering a few choice words about "some noob this" or "some noob that". So, please leave those Shifters alone! Also, another piece of strategic information... If we concentrate our efforts on the Portals (and the Spinners that occassionally pop up), it is possible to be victorious in less than 2 minutes from the start of the mission! Good luck and happy Pest Controlling!
petert1985
ive noticed that when im outside the south gate fighting the npcs you will get a sudden rush from both south gates that will clog up the main enterance. when this happens the mager/ranger npcs are automaticaly blocked by their own kind so they cant fire at the void knight at all. so you should kill the south shifter as its just draining HP off the void knight. I haven't noticed that. I do notice that it's the front line of rangers and magers who do the attacking. This is because they can't range or mage over other monsters. Kill the South Shifter and you end up with every ranger and mager next to the South gate(not the ones directly south of the South Gate, but the ones to either side) maging and ranging the Knight. Leave the South Shifter alone. You only need to keep the one that's directly south of the Knight.
