They've done it already with Halo, Resident Evil (I own all 10 of them), Warcraft, and other games. They sell quite well, especially those by S.D. Perry (excellent writer) tbh the Halo books are awesome. They tell the story of Master Chief and the war better then the games.
gaming companys dont pay out 100k to employees like that. heres some figures to show what jagex currently pays employees: Chief Financial Officer: ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã60-ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã80k per year 3D Modeller (Junior) : ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã18-ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20k per year Player Support : 12k per year Java Browser Games Developer : up to ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã24k per year Junior Graphics Artist (6-month contract): ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã16-ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã18k per contract. in the uk them wages are not good. theres only 1 job on that list that gets paid more then me, and im a steelworker.
i have sent so many messages to jagex that i know that everything sent in IS read, and they will just use a generic reply back to you. but 99% of the mods who reply to me will also put comedy into the last lines, always playing off something ive said to them. so thats proof they are being read and threads like this about auto replys are worthless.
What if people in charge will officalizise it? they should, I don't see any downside to TIF having an official vent server :? somebody will slip up and give away irl info. tipit trys to protects its community, so by endorsing this they are hanging on a thin line.
Runescape is fun when you start. then once youve done everything and realise how much grinding you have to do, it truely does get very very boring. i myself am also going through a patch were i am fed up with runescape. i cant even be bothered to play the 2 other large MMORPG's that i play.
this is truely a great story. it should be stickied somewhere to give inspiration to other people when they give up. i always like r2p, i used to see him stood slightly away from the other merchants at the very top of fally park and having his scouts run around all the time. if you are still playing now then i hope you become even greater.
