Deadlyfun
I was wondering if anyone could help me out on runecrafting. What is the best guide there is to leveling runecrafting all the way. I really like it but i want a much faster way of leveling then just geussing the fastest ones. Thanks in advance!!!
Narakia_1
Well doing airs is the fastest run, even if it's low exp. I've heard of people collecting talismans for more exp, but I'd imagine getting talismans in bulk is difficult and expensive. I'd say buy or mine ess and just do air runs, you can get quite a bit of money that way too. An air run only takes 2 minutes.
Deadlyfun
ok thank you very much ill try that and see how fast it goes but 30 in 2 minutes is only like 200 exp in 2 mins. its about 2k for each level so itll take a few. thats the price to pay for fame lol
Narakia_1
Even if you can make x2 or x3 air runes, you still only get exp PER ess, so you will never gain more exp. Making a tiara will get you some exp and allow you to carry 28 ess though. Good luck to you :)

I can confirm that one, hahaha. granted, there are a fair number of f2p players with tallies lying in the bank...you can usually sit in the varrock east bank and buy up body tallies for 200-500 gp each. As for the tiaras, you can make them yourself if you have the silver and crafting level....otherwise, your best bet is to check the Al Kharid general store, hop worlds, and see if anybody dumped them in bulk. Peak time is obviously your friend for both. I'll leave the math with regard to experience in your capable hands...tip.it has some wonderful calculators. =P Using tallies is nice for getting up to the lv 30-40 mark, but after that it's just too costly to be feasible. Air running isn't particularly fun, but there's a fair span where it's a very good option. The altar is quite close to the bank, and you get the "x2, x3" stuff straightaway. That, and fires don't sell all that much higher than airs =P. You might consider the world 16 airs company if you have little patience, and some cash to invest...last I knew, you had to sign up on the official forums to craft for them, though. After level 55-56, I'm told it's not uncommon to jump on the airs or laws (p2p) companies. I can't speak first hand there, though....I haven't gotten that far. In any case, best of luck! Edit: 2k xp for each level, you say? So I take it you're already around lv 35-37. So much for my "contribution".
ikraz66
there are actually several runecrafting "club" which is the fastest way to level up at high levels. The only f2p one that I know of is air crafting in world 16. To craft: 1-grab as much noted ess as you can and go to the world 16 air altar 2-announce that you are "open" and trade with a runner 3-the runner will give you 25 unnoted ess and you trade him 25 noted ess and 2.5k gp or 125 air runes 4-craft runes 5-repeat obviously, this only makes sense if you can craft at least 5 airs per ess (lvl 44 or higher) or are very rich. Running ess is also a great way to make money or runes for no exp. Just bring 25 ess to the altar and trade with a crafter. Btw, I have heard of some other runecrafting groups at the law and nature altar, but I don't know the details, and they only work for members anyway. Proud owner of a Quest cape! timmy_wont_post
Hm. The last time I checked, which I admit, was a long time ago, the airs company also wanted you to wear black robes to indicate that you're runecrafting...In any case, if that's the way you want to go, checking out the company thread on the official forums is probably a good idea. Ethiery
If you got some money and are members, this is how I leveled RCing quickler. Rub ring of dueling, castlewars. grab 27 ess. Rub ring, duel arena, hit fire altar, rub ring, castle wars. Lather, rinse, repeat grabbing a new ring when you go to castle wars. And the ring always breaks when you go to castle wars. A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
transcript80
@ Ethiery: the duelling rings I craft, have 8 uses, so it doesn't breakl after just 1 of your runs... In general: when you are high enough levelled, you can go to the law altar on world 66, and do something comparable for laws instead of airs. Since I'm a mere lvl 44 RC-er, it's hearsay, but give it a try. I ran some laws previously... very cheap laws for me!!! The crafters wear zammy robes if I'm correct. When you are willing to take a little bit more of a risk, you can use the Abyss for fast runecrafting. I found it especially usefull for choas and up (doing natures now). And did I mention pouches? At some RC level, oyu can use puches and take more essence into the altar, thus sppeeding up your RC levelling. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... Deadlyfun
Oops, sorry yes I am 32 and I'm a member...sorry I didn't say that. So how much starting investment do I need to pay the air runners from 32 to law level?
aaron5140
You can also do Body Runes, closest to a Bank (Edgeville) closer now that the wall is gone and 7.5xp. Level 46 = 92runes then level 92?=84runes unless you have pouches. At your level you can get Small and Medium pouch which hold 3 and 6 runes respectively. Only limitation is they can only be used for casting Curse (29xp) or Bind (30xp), which requires both earth and water runes, good if you have a mud staff. http://www.draynor.net/stat/black/male/ ... on5140.png
