The Rune Essence to Pure Essence convertor...

 

 

 

WHAT?

 

A machine which becomes available to you if you have completed a follow-up quest on the "Rune Mysteries" quest (which would require a decent runecrafting level like 44, and ofcourse the lvl 30? mining)...

 

 

 

WHO?

 

Members only

 

 

 

HOW?

 

After you have completed that follow-up quest (which qould require 44 runecrafting) You get access to a machine, or pool of fluid essence or whatevermajigger, in which you can put any ammount of rune essence, soak it for a week (or whatever time Jagex usually needs to snipe an autoer), and withdraw as pure essence.

 

 

 

There'd be a NPC there who you can pay a small fee (1gp per essence to be converted) to put in any ammount of rune essence (even notes, you give it just to him), and when converted, he will deliver it in your bank when talked to again (he will tell you if you have bankspace)

 

 

 

Once a "fermenting process" has begun, you cannot use the device or whatever until its emptied. 100% success rate ofcourse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This will restore the balance between f2p and p2p essence, without risking the "macroed" essence to be sold, solving both OUR AND JAGEX's problem.

i think your idea is alright. I just got a great idea though, how about making it possible to mine pure essence on f2p if you have a runecrafting level of 44 or something like that. That would solve the macroer problem because then each person has to get a certain rc lvl.

Still kind of sketchy. How would this machine work? Why wouldn't Jagex had put this in the first place. Maybe a little bit more details would work out for the best of everyone.

Isn't the whole point of the update to remove the market for F2P ess from P2P'ers who want it for crafting nats and laws? With this machine the P2P'ers could still buy their ess from the auto'ers with throwaway F2P accounts, then convert it to pure ess for their laws and nats. Thereby defeating the whole object!

 

 

 

The fact is that a bunch of cheats who have perverted the game for the sake a making money have stuffed a large number of honest F2P'ers by forcing Jagex to remove their income stream. Its not fair, it sucks for all the honest players out there but Jagex aren't gonna backtrack on it. I'm sure they gave considerable thought to the impact the update would have on players, but this was still the best solution they could come up with.

I like it. The week delay would increase greatly the value of chaos, nature, and law runes.

yep, what cardovilian said. sorry but you solution makes absolutely no sense. if anything, this essence converter helps the macroers more than anything, and pretty much overrides the whole normal/pure essence changes. i honestly dont think that the update is much of a problem. it will cut down on essence macroers, f2p runecrafters will still be able to purchase essence from the legitimate miners, and members can purchase their pure essence from non-macroing sources. its as simple as that.
