Well folks, we have three choices

 

 

 

Warrior(attack)

 

Mage(Magic)

 

Ranger(Ranged)

 

 

 

At first, I thought a warrior was best, but then I realized that you had to be next to your enemy to attack him, and it took an ungodly long time to level up, being as you could only get exp if you hit your enemy and he takes damage.

 

 

 

Right now i'm training to be a mage. You level up really quick, and there are so many usefull noncombat mage spells(alchamy, teleport, ect) The only problem is it is highly expenisve or time consuming to make runes such as chaos and nature. It isn't that big a problem for me, being as i'm level 43(almost 44) runecraft.

 

 

 

So what are your opinons?

Hybrid. Owns all. Cept that.

I dont know ive been combat forever, but im becoming more intrested in ranged now though

I would say mage is the best, if you have to choose one.

I like mage and range. 85 mage and 71 range myself

On npcs, total invinsibility beats all. After that, def pures.

 

 

 

Honestly, prayer and def pures.

range owns all lvl 99 range slices right through rune demolishes any 1 not wearing rune (common in the wildy) and can hit from far away

 

 

 

(i belive crystal bows can hit up to 25's with 99 range on a range pot

mage i'd say, you can hit way higher than range attacks.

 

but what about melee vs mage, melee hits better. look at dharok, yeah but dharok is VERY weak agains mage, so you would own it

I say combat because it's an one-time investment in armor, and it's a stable way of making money while making your character seem important. (On my old computer I have a few screenshots of me walking around lumby with a giant level-3 parade because they never seen 3-digit combat levels before.)

 

 

 

I'm sure things change for the members though.

Poor people (like myself) own melee. :P

Im a level 71 combat (all from melee). I found it boring so now I'm going for 50 magic... Currently half way through 40.. My fist blast is going to be soon 8)

Warrior(attack)

Ranger and mage ownaged.. Im level 52 cb, got 60 range (nearly) and 53 mage... i also have 49 pray on my back, which ultimately ups my cb...

 

 

 

Ranger is great in wildy, talking on a p2p basis, as you can make your own arrows, bows e.t.c

 

 

 

I have the biggest advantage as i can make ALL bows, arrows e.t.c as im level 86 fletch... The only thing i buy is the armour, and thats cheap aswell...

 

 

 

Rangers own mages, mages own melle, melle owns rangers... so if you make a ranger/mager, then your pretty much there...

 

Mage warriors, Range mage, Range OR mage other Rangers...
