April 27, 200620 yr I think that firemaking is a wasted skill, its all good making blue fires but compare it to a skill like cooking where u can make vertually anything u see. So just help me think of some new ways to make firemaking popular!
April 27, 200620 yr Firemaking is a useful skill it's just not recognized. People generally forget about FireMaking and the role it plays in fine cloth. Some players have made a lot of money from it. Offline and unavailable.
April 27, 200620 yr i think he means at somethin else.other than shade burning, what do ya do with firemaking?ya just use it to cook a limited selection of food & items on a open fire rather than using a range.over half of the logs that are burnable youd have to be nuts to burn.we need to make it more useful! Or use a flaming log as a weapon. Or use firemaking to blow up the rune essence mine and all the autoers inside :twisted:

April 29, 200620 yr mabey there could be special clothes like witches clothes... we could only get them buy burning the witches! that would make it more fun! u could have full witch head:witches face(complete with pointy nose and warts) body: witches robes, shoes: crooked toes hands: long fingers mellee weapon: stiff black cat :lol: mage weapon: broom (mabey u could hover while its equipped) range weapon: throw exploding witches brews in kettles that would make everyone want to do FM!

May 1, 200620 yr Anybody seen the 'DUkes of Hazzard' with Jonny Knoxville? They get a bow and arrow and then light the arrow. Then let the arrow go with it burning and theres an explosion. Maybe Jagex could incorporate that into the game. Use a tinderbox with arrow. And you should need certain firemaking skills to burn certain arrows and certain range lvls. it should also do tonnes of damage. And in the wilderness, you should be able to burn people, like poison, so it slowly reduces the other players health. The only way to stop the burn is with a bucket/jug of water. So, certain bits of your armour should catch alight. So say if you plate legs catch alight, soon it will spread to your cape, then your plate body, then shield and so on. You have to use your bucket of water with with the item that is burning in the Equip Menu. And when you right click on something that is burning, there should be a (B) for burning. That way you know that your armour is on fire. Anybody like that idea?
May 1, 200620 yr Buddy, that would be a great idea, unfortunitally i doubt any would be done because whole types of armour would have to be recreated, digitally remastered, pixled in the fire, then shipped back, ect. it would be sweet if it happened tho..
