Green Dragon Slaying guide-A video

Featured Replies

After many of my friends and a few people on this forum were looking for a Green Drag guide I made one in the hope that this would show people how to kill dragons so they can get out there and kick some dragon butt :P. But enough chitter-chatter here are the download links and for all you paranoid people because I dont have a 6k post count there is a putfile link :)

MegaUpload: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y83KM1SL

Putfile: http://media.putfile.com/Green-Dragon-slaying-guide

Rapidshare: http://rapidshare.de/files/19238868/Gre ... q.wmv.html

Flash (for people with macs; It is also streaming and is a slightly smaller video and higher quality): http://www.projectstreamer.com/users/nv ... n_Dragonz/

I reccomend the Project Streamer Video because it is higher quality then the wmv videos and is slightly smaller. Just give it time to load, it completely loads the video before playing.

This is my first vid btw, Hope y'all like :D

uploading now thanks for making it

edit: says i need to download another program so i'm not gonna try sorry

umm, which site did you go to :? putfile should work just fine...

and just to tell you, it is impossible to put a keylogger into something on putfile; seeing as nothing is downloaded into your computer.

nice video, nice stats too :). the video froze when you showed your stats so i got a good look at them.

also showed me how I could slay those dragons and what a good level for them would be. I'm only level 69 at the moment but I'm no member. I'll try it at around level 75 - 80.

once again, ncie vid :)

Nice vid! :)

I used the putfile version and that worked for me - no pop ups or pics of women in my area who are just dying to meet me either! :D

18/22 skills at or better than 60.

1300+ skill total.

Barrows:Torag's Helm x2, Guthan's Helm, Guthan's Warspear, Dharok's Greataxe, died to dharok, Guthan's Platebody, Ahrim's Hood. All in a total of 104 runs.

very good guide, I've made and lost a couple mil out there but I just pick up bones but thats a good idea to use a lower food I never thought about that. well gr8 guide! I think tip.it should have another section for guides to killing the most popular monsters in Rs.

finally back in the game! send me a message, all my old friends quit

I laughed so hard I pooped my thong.

nice video, but i'd just wear dhide instead of rune, as long as it's red or better.

Yep..I wear:

- rune legs

- Black D Hide body (for some mage protection)

- rune full helmet (they are such a regular drop during slayer I have at least 15 of them in the bank at all times, and therefore expendable)

- anti-fire shield

- d scimmy (I leave my whip at home)

- addy boots (again, a common drop during gargoyle slayering)

- and a glory. If you want to be cheap replace the glory with tele runes or Ring of Duelling.

Inventory

- att and str pot (use 1 dose per trip)

- 10 trouts.

- ectophial (=life saver)

- addy darts (p) for some mage defense, or magic short with rune arrows.

When trouble arises, that is you see white dots appear on the edge I stay calm when I am fighting a green dragon. Nothing can happen while you are doing that. If they come closer I try to get a look, but that is often not possible. Sometimes you can move a bit away to the other side and hit a green dragon there. Problem temporarily solved again. If they try to get into position you can try to move again. If there is only one dot I will not ecto out immediately. I am wearing my black d hide after all. Usually that is quite ok for making them miss TB or entangle. And you can always run if they TB or tele if they entangle.

If you are with more than 1 person at the greens try to establish some communication. Sometimes the other person has a view on the Pkers when you don't or the Pkers aren't in his combat range so they are not a threat to him so they ignore him. But he can then still warn you.

But I haven't been killed at the green dragons yet. I have been close twice I think. Once I ran. There were 3 mages and they were instructing someone on how to PK at the green dragons. I engaged the student a bit. He had me entangled and TB'ed. He got the suprise of his life when I started throwing darts at him. If I had my magic short with me with rune arrows I would have had him I think. So he had to start eating. My entangle wore off. I ran. I failed to entangle me again.

I glory to edgville. Unload. Return back. They were gone. I continue chopping greens.

I actually like it when occasionally Pkers show up. Makes it more interesting.
