what can you do with it? i saw people selling it for over 100k

They are worth very little(600gp high alch someone told me) and other than that have noo use what so ever

only idoits buy them, tortoises are fairly easy to kill i saw a lvl 50 something kill it and the shells do nothing yet.

Rumours. Very, very high probability that this is just someone's personal idea. If the tortoise shells will have a purpose some day, it won't be worth more than about 10k max. Just my guess.

apparently(i can't confirm because i'm not a member right now) you use it on a gnome or elf or summat, and it tells you to keep it as it will have a use one day

POH = Player Owned Houses

Just grab your nats and fires with you when killing them for some profit. I very highly doubt that they will have anything to do with POHs as I suppose you can't build your own houses, the house is just there and carpentry is all about making furniture for them. But who knows, maybe you will be able to make tortoise chairs from shells and some planks. :| Lol.

canoes were a wash-out, but you could carry a coracle and get free river travel from anywhere to anywhere...or just bob about with a couple of beers and go fishing...if they do go ahead with POH, you'll want to get away from the housework and relax once in a while, right?
