sijan
Knife. How did Thorin get his nickname 'Oakenshield?' Knife = wrong Just curious - where did you get the source for 'shappu?' I researched the word in my LOTR books and guides, etc. and found no mention of the word anywhere. "Duty, then, is the sublimest word in the English language. Faux
How come I didn't see this thread before! smeagol who helped frodo and sam in the first book but was cut outa the movie? sorry to go bk on this question but the answer was actually Tom Bombadil ( i think thats how u spell it) not wood elves Yeah, and the elves who met the Hobbits on the border of the forest on their way to Frodo's new home weren't Wood Elves either - they were High Elves. How did Thorin get his nickname 'Oakenshield?' Thorin Oakenshield got his nickname when he used a branch of oak as a shield in battle. Who killed Smaug the Dragon (hobbit) Bard (descendant of the old bloodline that used to rule Dale) was the one who killed Smaug. Compared to the movie, what was different in the book about Rohan's entrance into the Battle of Pelennor Fields? Are you talking about Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and the other Dunedain who road the ships they took from the Living Dead with the other warriors? The difference is that ghosts didn't end the battle - there was an actual battle where the Gondor forces won. i guess u could call it that i was looking more along the lines of Durin's Bane You should've called it the 'title' of the balrog in Moria instead. ____ My question: How is Kili and Fili related to Thorin? :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
