Preperation 1) For the longest time me and a friend had been saving up for full Dhs. 2) I was getting real sick of world hoping and buying the runes from the mage guild so i decided i would take a break and go to barrows, for the first time ever. 3) So I did some research, read tip.its barrows guide and got all the items to go. 4) With all the romours going around i have to say i thought barrows was going to waste my butt. Trip there As i was going i meat a guy that said i was dead for sure and there was no way i was going to get to the chest let alone get anything. That didnt help much. Well i started out, turned off my msn messenger to prevent lag and started killing. Dharock was first. Killed him with prayer on all the time. Easy i thought Krail was next. Lol, I pray on him too now (still licking my wounds from the last time he got me to 3hp :? ). But can't you use sidesteping on Karil? Its extremely nooby and a waste of time, but its pretty much free. Can anyone confirm whether or not Karil can be sidestepped? And great story :lol: . Satenza Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 He cant be sidestepped. You have to be the longer side of the crypt away from him to stop him attacking. Not worth the time in my opinion. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. I continued on with all the brothers without a problem. as i killed karil i went to verac, i owned him so easily i chuckly alittle then spit on his dead body. then it was off to ahrim, as we fought i ran out of food and my whole life depended on my prayer, soon after i killed him and walked out. then it was time to gather my reward, as i walked to the chest GUTHANS POPED UP i owned him with my bare hands and no prayer, he was easy. You can sidestep if you use range/mage easily but melee is nearly impossible unless you get him to spawn in a good spot. He hits so often and so high that you will eat more sharks/monks fighting him sidestepping than the cost of a prayer dose. Where is the rest of this story? Let's hear it, lol.
