gandorf_101 Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 this is just a thread requesting a bigger alowed sig size i was just wondering if there are plans to change the sig size at all considering its only 30kb atm... thats kinda really low making it hard to get a 300x100 pixel abstract without losing too much quality to "JPEG the slayer!" :( anyway maybe if a mod can inform me on this issue :) here is an example of what im talking about... this is a 300x100 low quality JPEG abstract: thanks. -gandorf Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

misterxman Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 We are looking at suggestions some have sent for bigger total sig dimensions (bigger than 300x150 pix) but don't expect anything yet. As for the file sizes of sigs, we can't allow any bigger and the max amount probably will never change as more file size means more cost to keep the forums running to allow all these bigger signatures from so many users.
