May 14, 200620 yr Well, I had fun doing the last one so I did another, any c/c or comments appreciated :) <------ Why should we buy postage stamps when we can make our own?aperson being
May 14, 200620 yr it has a certian GS kinda look to it..maybe its the pose..or shading..i dunno.but it looks great ive tryed to master that kinda blood drip effect for quite a tiume but you seem to have it down............
May 14, 200620 yr Not bad, anatomy is pretty good, although unless you were modelling you wouldn't take up that pose. Btw for his sig: Dart your eyes from left to right, whilst focusing on it :P Optical illusion! w00t!
May 14, 200620 yr I'd say you should probably work on the thighs somemore, the unbent one should proabably be a little more convex. I would think, If you where using your shield, you woul have your knee bent and facing the other direction, but thats just sylistic. And beware of over dithering. You have a ton of promise in pixel art, you just need practice.

Seriously, this is like the 6th time I've heard this comment, it's just daysha-voo.. Godslayers great and all but.. There are millions of artists out there, is it a co-insidence that anything slightly abstract using limited colours fits in the catagory of the one artist? Search Frank Miller, Aperson. creator of Sin City, his work is on the lines of the style your trying to portray.. Sorry if ur offended GS mate, but im seriously thinking that in a few weeks we'll have 20+ GS's on our hands. You must agree there's much more to explore when it comes to art. ~Ter
May 14, 200620 yr I agree Terley, I don't really encourage it, it just seems to happen. Not my fault.

You must agree there's much more to explore when it comes to art. ~Ter In all honesty, this is a total rip-off of GS's style, even if you can't call it his own style. His pixel work has been some of the only pixel work that has inspired me to even try it. I have been very amazed at what can be done with simple color manipulation. I don't know about anybody else but I learn new techniques by emulating others and then expanding from there. GS's work is simple and to the point, I figured what better way to start pixeling :P I have in no way taken from GS's work, just to point that out, but have used it as a guide. :) I'm sure as I progress in pixel art my horizons will expand :P I'm not real sure I completely understand your comment there though Terley, are you saying "why does everyone emulate GS's work?" or are you saying "why does everyone say that looks like GS's work?" Kind of confused on that point. Why should we buy postage stamps when we can make our own?aperson being
May 14, 200620 yr I think he's saying that everyone referrs to GS's work everytime someone comes up with something that remotely looks like his. TheDark or Kevinnv on other forums.
