The Book Davinci Code was really bad... but, Angels And Demons was the best...

P.S. It was antimater not a bomb... But it is like 5000 times stronger than a nuclear warhead, when it touches matter... So i wouldn't call it a "bomb".

I liked the Da Vinci Code and look forward to reading his Angels & Demons.

You remind me of the people who hate mainstream bands because of the popularity. 'If the mass knows about it, it's not good' logic. Things become popular for a reason. Learn to ignore it if you don't like it - as others evidently do.

I'm not trying to start a fight. I understand where you're coming from. I just have a different opinion.

That's because most modern-day bands are manufactured. Save for certain bands, many are products of intelligent record company scouts and image makers who dictate to the band members what to say, what to wear, what to sing about and how to walk and talk. Now you can become a famous singer for being good-looking, rebellious or crossove from the acting world. It wasn't that way 30 years ago, you actually needed to be some kind of relatively innovative or talented band. But that's something entirely different.

Anyway, I read Deception Point, Digital Fortress and Angels and Demons before I tried to read the Da Vanci Code. I found those books entertaining but highly unrealistic. They also always have a formula to them:

A fit, poor, intelligent university professor or intellectual has to save the world from some kind of intelligence leak or assassination and enlists the help of a conveniently attractive and equally smart woman. The top dog betrays them but the mystery is solved anyway and everybody lives happily ever after.

But it's still a nice quick read nonetheless. I am currently into Matthew Reilly books, which are action novels that read like movies :D.

You people havent got a mind diverse enough to understand it, fair enough.

Ahahaha, excuse me, what? This may be my hungover anger shining through, but me not being gullible enough to accept the conspiracies in it, which are the deliberate drive to get success, does not mean I have an indiverse mind.

I'm going out to see The Da Vinci Code movie tomorrow night. I finished the book yesterday. :D
Lucky :( Kresleen and me are supposed to go on Saturday, but since my family is coming over to their place, we cancelled our movie plan :|

I'll be sure to tell you how it is.

Owned :P Just came home for our date and it was pretty fun :D Critics BS'd their reviews. It wasn't as bad as they made it out to be. The albino freaked me and Kresleen twice lmfao. So funny.

I don't know, I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t find that book that fascinating really. I read a lot of Tom Clancy books, this guy writes a lot books and they all rock. I mean who hasn't heard of the following:

-Patriot Games

-Rainbow Six

-Hunt for the Red October

-Clear and Present Danger

-Sum of All Fears

-Executive Orders

People like Clancy or Steven King have experience and write well put together stuff. Then Dan Brown comes out of nowhere and EVERYONE in my school read his book saying its god and the best book ever written. I ask what other adult fiction books they read and besides books for English class they list none.

My point: Yes I know DaVinci Code is a good book with a detailed plot, but so are most books labeled Adult Fiction. Read something else on its level to compare it to, you can't compare DaVinci Code to Beowulf and Tom Sawyer excerpts
