High Level with Low Slayer?

I've been putting off Slayer for about a year now (been concentrating on other skills) & now I feel it is best to start. My character is definately equip enough to handle even the higher beast of Slayer, thus this question. Which Slayer Master will give me the hardest creatures to start off with? I don't want to be stuck with low level creatures that will give me crappy exp. Appreciate it!

I didn't start with burthope when I started training slayer, I think you could go to zanaris master if you wanted to, but I think the hardest slayer master (in shilo village) requires 50 slayer for assignments

You're gonna have to start with Burthopre, the easiest. As your slayer level gets higher, you can move on to different and more challenging slayer masters. Tip.It Slayer Guide

Eh? I've never heard that before, and it says nothing of the sort in the guide you linked.

In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothes

I bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal dose

I offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn

"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"

This is correct as far as I know (though I thought you had to go to Burthorpe for your very first assignment?) A forum topic containing updates to be included in the next release of Tip.It's Slayer guide is located here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=222544

and it discusses combat and slayer levels for different Slayer masters.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
