Hi, I'm looking to know what is a good level to make money runecrafting and also how to train to that level from my current level of 23.

are you p2p or f2p? because nats are a good way to make money if you are p2p.

The fastest cheap way to raise rc is to buy a lot of impure ess for 10 ea and craft airs. You can then sell the airs, maybe even make a small profit. Be aware that the airs market is not very stable and that RC is a slow skill to raise unless you pour a lot of money into runners.

 

 

 

Level 44 is what you'll be aiming for (nats). If you aren't p2p then there isn't much money to be made in runes except perhaps airs but like I said the market isn't exactly great.

Should you have no interest in profit, I did it this way, power levels it rather quick.

 

 

 

Ring of Dueling - Al Karid, hit altar.

 

In altar, Ring of Dueling - Castle Wars, Bank for ess and drop off runes.

 

 

 

Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

At your level, do airs. Perhaps consider cosmics after 27 for speed of leveling and maybe selling to people outside the Mage Training Arena.

 

 

 

Obviously, at 44 make the nats happen.

 

 

 

You will find that fires will not sell.

Oh yeah, do the abyss minigame/zammy mage thing first as well, you'll get a small ess pouch (holds 3) and if you go into the abyss you can kill leeches to get a medium ess pouch as well (watch yourself in the abyss mind). These pouches will make levelling that little bit faster.

 

 

 

I tried cosmics myself but with low agility I found the run to the altar too far to make the process efficient. Also cosmics require more expensive ess to make now.

 

 

 

A method I didn't try but might work is doing bodies (they won't sell either, but they have higher xp per craft). You can use edgy bank and the removal of the wall means that the body altar isn't too far away.

The edgeville method can be further sped up by the use of a glory, which if you have done the hero's guild has free recharge, making it even more efficient
