pokemama
Check out this post in General P2P: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=463309 where they discuss the newest quest (Royal something?) and talk about what rewards are available and stuff. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*. chenw
i abandoned my long ago. u wont get much from it actually. they actually give quite handsomely if you have completed the Royal trouble quest, not only you get more from them (in both variety and quantity), their favor drops significantly more slowly, its worth a try. 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. vlad_the_old
Do you still need to put a lot in? I know when I did the quest I left 20 k in there and set them to 100% herbs. Came back a few days later to find 8k left and 1 single Marrintil. Took the remaining money out and left in disgust. I was at 100% favour - doubt I am any more! :D Thanks to 4be2jue for the sigs. There are 10 types of people in the world - those that understand binary and those that don't!
chenw
well it is certainly better than that now. I left about 120k in there, got some useful high level herbs and some fish i could train my cooking with. i left 300k there now and see if it is worth the results you really would need to put a fair amount of cash in there to make it worth while though 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. Jake_Corsair
A bit of a recap to the thread that was mentioned. The rewards are better now after the Royal Trouble quest. To get the most out of your rewards, you need to put in enough money to use the maximum payout to your workers. Which is 750k at the very least (workers paid 75k out of coffers), but after the first day of paying your workers you will be paying less than the 75k and won't get the full benefits. Also raise your approval rating by doing any of the odd jobs around the island till you get to 100%. This drops down 1% a day. Again with less than 100% you won't get full rewards, but the rewards seem more based on the amount of money you pay each day than the approval rating (IMO), as long as your rating is fairly high, I wouldn't worry too much about raising that back up but maybe once a week even two weeks. Hope that helps. This was my first days collection after the new quest: workers divided up like this and only 500k in coffers 70% on herbs 20% on seeds 10% on teak and mahoganey If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]
kwimbob
Yeah, having 750k or more in there makes them take the maximum of 75k a day and give you the most rewards. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]
