One of my newest styles, I have been working on.

The following were used in this sig:

Gradients

4 C4D renders although you cannot see them at all

Smudging style which means no brushes used at all

Photo filters

Enjoy.

I lost my H3 disk (tears) so now I'm playing H2 till I can get 5.

Ouch H2 lol. I like how Heroes has an option where multiple people can play at one computer so you can have a game with your friends right beside you.

I prefer your first sig but again this one is really good, 9.5/10 because the writing is slightly harder to read lol where it blends in with the background.

I can't say I like this one. The typography is weak and unprofessional, the 3D is non-existant, the sparks are distracting, and it looks very blurry. No depth, no creativity, the colours leave much to be desired.

On the other hand, this one isn't bad, and is a big step up from the last. The text still needs a lot of work, and the tacky sparks are still there, but they are much more subtle this time. Some sort of 3D can now be seen, which is also good. It's starting to get some depth in it, and the vibrant colours are much more interesting than the above sig. Still not much creativity or originality, but, as I've said, much better than the last.

Overall, they are pretty good. You should try bringing more creativity and originality into your sigs, and relying less on filters and stock images.

Good luck! :)

You know your stuff... I understand the text problem, I've been just testing out the text for the last couple of signatures. I know how to do other text so I will do that after. For the first one, the dots are an effect made for the signature called the shattered glass effect which is basically the background it is a smudge technic using the X brush. Perhaps it may be too blurry but that is for the viewer to decide, also I think I understand what you meant.Around the outside of the render at the top is supposed to blend in the render because it isn't needed to see the edges. It may seem blurry but it blends in the render and it also helps create the shattered glass effect. I guess the colours need to be more vibrant, I had added a gradient map for that signature, perhaps should've been a darker colour.

The second one I didn't want the C4D render to be too visible. Again I was using a smudge technic called the shattered glass effect. I haven't used many filters at all actually. I've used gaussian blur and sharpened it up just to make it better. I don't see where you going with no creativity but that's your opinion.

Interesting work i like the way the characters seem to be bursting through some invible wall into the picture... though it does seem a little flat

Yes! That's what I was trying to do. The shattering glass effect.
