Well I really want to see a logical viewpoint on why to hate on someones taste in music.

 

 

 

While I understand why you'd try to..please don't use the whole negative message being given off from the music arguement, because you will see that a lot in every style of music, so you can't just say 'Emo' is giving off these messages rather than music as a whole.

 

 

 

Also try to at least use some intelligence when stating your opinion instead of the whole "OMG!! I hate it because it's stupid!!"

They don't hate the music at all. They don't hate any of the fans for liking the music either.

 

 

 

They hate the 'scene' and poser attitude of the fans. How they all try and look the same (yes I know that's true for everyone, but not everyone tries to look that extreme) and how they think that everyone else is a poser and only they aren't.

We've had about 10 "Why hate emo" topics, they aren't interesting to begin with, and they always end up the same. Can we please keep this to the past? Locky.

Anesthesia, actually makes a point.. but you forget that it only applies to perhaps 35% of people who actually are into the music...

No, I'm not forgetting that. You asked why people 'hate on' the music, I informed you that they don't 'hate on' the music, they hate the people who espouse a certain style. If you're saying that only 35% of emo fans espouse that style then obviously only that 35% are hated. On.

He never said that he hates them because it's what other people do. It's a fact, it has become the thing to do to hate on emo kids.
