While I understand why you'd try to..please don't use the whole negative message being given off from the music arguement, because you will see that a lot in every style of music, so you can't just say 'Emo' is giving off these messages rather than music as a whole. Also try to at least use some intelligence when stating your opinion instead of the whole "OMG!! I hate it because it's stupid!!" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They hate the 'scene' and poser attitude of the fans. How they all try and look the same (yes I know that's true for everyone, but not everyone tries to look that extreme) and how they think that everyone else is a poser and only they aren't. Anesthesia, actually makes a point.. but you forget that it only applies to perhaps 35% of people who actually are into the music... You asked why people 'hate on' the music, I informed you that they don't 'hate on' the music, they hate the people who espouse a certain style. If you're saying that only 35% of emo fans espouse that style then obviously only that 35% are hated. On. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
