When I go to barrows, i usually open the chest, tele to camelot to bank and recharge prayer, and then ecto to get back....

 

 

 

Well now you can build a prayer room with an alter, and then next door in your portal chamber you can make a kharil teleport portal. This is gonna make barrows runs so much quicker.

 

 

 

Open chest ---> tele to house ---> recharge prayer ---> walk though portal to canifis ---> bank and repeat.

 

 

 

Not forgetting that you can repair barrows items more cheaply, do you think this will affact the prices dramatically? Discuss.

but the skill is such a gp drain i think the price of everything will be affected...

i would say yes, both to do with houses making it easyer to do, and the resent drop in price of almost all items

they have already suffered from the initial shock of the POH. dharok is down to 4.5m. time will only tell. im sure big barrowers will use this method and might be able to get more items.

let me tell you why the prices of the barrows items will ALL go down..me, a normal non-barrower, always angered at the inconvenience of doing barrows, with all the walking, finally sees that most of the walking is eliminated. Now, once I get the proper construction level, i will begin to make a lot of barrows runs because they are just so easy now.

 

I guarantee you I am one of thousands that will see this and start doing barrows for the first time, or much more then they usually do. bringing the prices of all of these items, down!

I would expect the prices to keep getting lower for these reason:

 

 

 

In Aid of the Myreque quest makes it so there is a closer bank.

 

 

 

More people are doing barrows, so there is more stock of the armors.

 

 

 

Construction has introduced a money sink, so I would expect most prices to come down.

 

 

 

Construction has also made it easier to get to canafis and a way to recharge prayer at the same time.

Is this true? It would seem the opposite of what I think would happen. Players need more money to support construction so they sell their items for more. OTOH, you've got players with less money to spend... anyone here take an economics class?

i wanted to see what i could get for 10 p pots and someone gave me t hammers which ive always wanted anyway, most ppl seem to be liquidating everything in bank. (one i had used up 50k and not wanting to drop below 1.2mil, i started selling p pots and now am training at chaos druids again becuase no one is really there :D )

It would be a double edged sword for me. On the one hand full guthan's would be cheaper, but on the other the barrows items i got would sell for less.
