clan wars no longer in the wildy? looters = dead?

the new combat ring is multicombat, you lose nothing. and it occured to me this may start to bring out some true power amoungst clans

i mean, a whole clan could goto a leaders home, dressed in their best and not be afraid to lose anything(provided the expell players bug is fixed properly.)

so now, clans can actually expect the most out of their members. no reason for some kids not to show up, and be scared of loosing their full rune.

edit: obviously means, walkin out of the wildy with a looted rune set from a clan war might be done and over with so, thats a downside

up side, your clan war wont get crashed.

It'd be kind of small though, plus if clans want to have an all out battle, they'd do it in Fight Pits.

why? no random stragglers to crash it... + 20-50 people could easily fit in it.... but like 200-300 people mayybe not

bad idea. the combat ring is like 9 squares big. normally clan wars are in big, open parts of the wild. people run around a lot too. also, whats the risk? clan wars are about who is most powerful AND who has the most guts to bring the best items (whip, ancients, etc) with out fear of losing it. if you have wars in combat rings, EVERYONE would bring ancients, whips, dharoks, and other stuff. i've never seen a guy wear dharok in a clan war, and i dont think i ever will.

also, you can just have like 50 combat rings because normal wars have like 50 people piling 1 person at a time. this would be not achieved.

as someone said, fight pits is a good idea, as well as the wild. if you dont want your stuff taken, then wear steel.

Thats what i thought at first, then I realized that in a space that small, any ancient mage would totally destroy you (especialy with blood barrage, he/she would be nigh invincible.) However for a one-on-one fight, it could be useful, duel arena aside.

Too many problems, I'm afraid. Some of which are:

A) Too small. Ancient mages would destroy you, and if you're not familiar with everyone in your clan, you might attack them (too hard to see cape colour)

B) You'd either have to have your private set to friends or on. If it was on, crashers. If it was on friends, you'd have to add all the attendees of both your clan and the opposing clan

C) Nothing stops the people who die from getting back in the ring. In big clan fights, you can't really trust anyone to follow the rules.

You can set a PvP mode from your throne room with the lever. There you have a huge area to have fights :)

Only bad thing are those f2p people in clans.

most clans war on f2p. But p2p wars will generate less loot, which is what I thought this post was about.

If the players make the unique helm and shields they can create, it ill be unlootable if they die.
