lol sweet dude. wish i had pre thought my house out b4 i shot up to 80 construction. i still want t change my rooms but it would cost millions. if ur starting out with construction take heed to this advice. thx nice thread.

That's a nice symetrical design. Jagex really needs to up the oom limit so we can avoid getting stuck with tiny dungeons.

You can make your dungeon bigger if:

 

1.a. if your house is 2 floors (ground and dungeon) use skill hall/quest hall as stairs in dungeon

 

1.b. if you house is 3 floors (ground, 1, and dungeon) use spiral staircase so you will have skill hall on quest hall on dungeon stairs. that way you use only 3 stairs rooms.

 

2. Put combat roooms in doungeon make it bigger.

 

3. parlours are kind of useless rooms so you don't need to build any of them.

 

4. build only 1 garden/formal garden with exit portal.

 

 

 

Here is example for 2 floors house with nice dungeon:

 

1.a is a strong point. You should draw up a guide on space saving in POHs.

heres stuff to make ur dungeon bigger:

 

 

 

1. get rid off all parlours there useless

 

 

 

2. if ur at ur desired lvl and u are positivle sure u dont want to raise it any more like me when i get 85 either dont have a workshop or use it as a corridor in ur dungeon

 

 

 

*NOTE* if u plan on using workshop to fix barrows ignore #2

 

 

 

3. if u plan not to use a butler anymore when u get ur lvl wanted delete bedrooms or put them in the dungeons with just beds

 

 

 

4. if ur not going to make tele tablets dont build a study

 

 

 

5.use a skill hall if ur going to to have stairs to ur dungeon so u can have glory

 

 

 

 

 

***IMPOTANT*** 6. JAGEX adds about 5 more room

 

 

 

in other words if ur not going to use it put it dungeon or GET RID of it

I don't agree with that. I use my workshop for fixing my barrows armor alot and it worth to keep even when not for training cons.

Yep, the workshop is a super important room.

 

 

 

As for the rest of your points, they can all be summed up by saying, "If you don't need it, get rid of it."

That's an excelent way to trim down my design and focus on dungeons.

Most of the time I'm bumping for reference while talking to people in game.

About three weeks after construction was released I was nearly to lvl 50 when I decided to tear down my entire house and rebuild it. So I didn't waste money this time I started planning out different house designs. The three or four ideas I sketched out weren't as effecient and well designed as your layout so I copied your blueprint. Well done and thank you for posting this. I have found two or three other designs but yours is by far the best one I've seen.
