October 15, 200619 yr Author Wow, I didn't expect to see my old thread bumped back up. I figured it was long deleted by now... Well as for the costume room.... I personally doubt that that there will be a new room. Read the BTS for October, it says "Magic Wardrobe" which would presumably go in the bedroom and "Treasure chest" which can go in bedroom or anywhere. I am, however, hoping that the room limit gets increased as that would allow people to use my house and dungeon design at the same time!
October 15, 200619 yr Also in October, Player-Owned Houses will get their first update since launch, with the all new costume room! Build magic wardrobes and treasure chests, and free up some space in the bank! Players will be able to store all their favourite random event costumes, special treasure trail outfits and even some of the odd little toys they've picked up on your travels over the years. October 15, 200619 yr Author Ahah! A very good point which I overlooked... There are two possibilities... 1. Jagex increases the room limit. In this case make the costume room directly south of the combat room. Make sure a door remains on the south in case something else needs to go there. 2. Jagex doesn't increase the room limit and your house is full!!! Oh no!!! Well this stinks for me because all my rooms have at least 50k or so in them. My first thought would be to delete the parlour. However this might not work if the doors of the costume room don't match. In either case, I will update the design with the new room.
October 15, 200619 yr Here's my house. Didn't even have to look at it to remember... - 71 (+6) con atm. - All portals but lumby. - Everything is kinda simple. Only items with marble is throne. None with gold leaf yet but soon I'll build gilded eagle lectern for house tablets. - The new room will replace ranging pedastals in case we won't get more rooms. Tried to make is conventinal too: - For training construcion with larders bell-pull is near entrance and kitchen right next to it. - For charging pray and teleing my altar and portals are near entrance. - Study is kinda near bell-pull. - All other usefull rooms (workshop and bedroom) are in floor 1. (I don't have chairs in dining room cause it's easier to use the table without them)
October 19, 200619 yr WELL THE DAY IS HERE!! COSTUME ROOM HAS ARRIVED!!! Guess What? THEY DIDNT RAISE THE ROOM AMOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!! IM MAD AS HECK! well thats my thoughts sorry for the CAPS but i figured anger needed it ON RS official forums, a person said that a JAGEX MOD has said they WILL raise the room cap and bank space, but he dont know when! DONT know if its true but i hope so! Computerwiz
October 19, 200619 yr ... THEY DIDNT RAISE THE ROOM AMOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!! IM MAD AS HECK! ... Same here. I got 20 rooms house. to add this room I need to remove old room. the cheapest room I got is dungeon stairs and it cost me over 300k.... I wrote a rant at official forum and kept it bump for 3 hours and only 2 people response to it (and one say something like "your problem deal with it"). I decided to wait with that room (but I got the place for it and everything just room limit) because I got bank space atm (1 full page except 1 row and thats after I got all random cloths and ghost). I just hope they will add some rooms to the room limit soon. I think if we complain we get it sooner but I tried and none was willing to post he agree with me.
