Am I a n00b??

i am raising my crafting, magic and runecrafting buy doing all by myself no buying making elemental battlestaffs... someone in lost city tried to sell me cosmics.. i replied " i a crafting everything myself to raise my levels" he then said you are a n00b. now i thought the idea to this game was to raise levels not take an easy way to level one skill at a time as i am leveling 3 doing it my way.. am i wrong??

to be honest, i think he just called you a noob because you didnt buy his runes.

 

noob seems to be used more and more as a way of telling someone they didnt do what the first guy wanted

What you aren't considering is that 'You are a n00b' in noobish translates to 'I am a noob and you aren't doing exactly what I want you to do' :)

The kid (hopefully it was a kid :wink: ) was just selfish, and from what I heard a lot of people call others noobs when they don't buy stuff from them or if they won't lower their prices to what the other person wants. Don't worry about when someone calls you a noob, it really just means that they are too lazy to unmotivated to think of something smarter to say.

 

 

 

As for lvling: There really is no right way, while buying your lvls might be easier doesn't make it a walk in the park, it still takes a lot of time and dedication. But if you are going to do it all buy yourself that's cool too, and good luck with it.

Doing things your own way has always been my motto, the character is yours, you raise and enjoy the game the way you want it (unless of course it intereferes with the other people), you have done nothing wrong and has proved that he is the so called 'n00b'.
