Monument of remembering

Featured Replies

After seeing lanostos post, I had an idea. Maybe Jagex could have a monument in every city , saying "Remember the brave warriors who have died". On the main page, it could say who the "brave warriors" are, like Anarith, The Old Nite, y'know.

i never read lano's post so i wouldnt know..

but why those guys? i know there in the top 10 and all, but why were they brave? what did they do?? and are we only talking about overall totals?

explain more.

i was thinking more of gold statues in the legends guild garden.

I like this idea better. Its a more respectable tribute to two players who passed away while being an actual part of the community.

But to be honest... this isn't exactly an origional idea... for numerous reasons.

And you pretty much just copied that guys idea and made a new post. I just can't respect that as an origional idea (its weak to rip off someone else's ideas). Could've easily presented the idea in that thread, instead of spamming the forum with two similar ideas with almost identical topic names. :?

That would most likely just waste space, since people might fake their deaths when they decide to quit just the get in on it.

And about the Monument, I wouldn't think it should be in every single city, maybe just the Falador park or something. Or in some castle somewhere. And maybe just a plaque on a pedastal or something. But still, it shouldn't list people, nor on the Runescape home screen. Again people might fake their death just to be part of it. We'd see like, "Gamblingfool will be missed", but there I am, training my woodcutting. Some people could be that forgetful and come back. :?

You know how mny people died who played RuneScape? Probably a lot but you dont know them. Having like 5000 statues in Falador? Where did the park go???

Not to be rude, but why should we treat those people with more respect that others? Just because they played longer or skilled faster?
