Yea, i tried my first serious piece of pixel art yesterday.. its only small but it took me while until i figured out what i was doing... I was just randomly drawing in paint at first then i decided to try a serious thing... the Pictures in my sig if you havnt realised it yet.

Any advice is welcome...

any help?

It zooms so you can see closer, but the feature is made only to have a closer look and work more carefully with the pixels. Make sure you are in 1x zoom when planing what size the sig will be. The max sig size in tip it is 300x150, go to Image>Attributes, then change the height to 150 and lenght to 300.

Not saying im any good or anything but yea i agree with him i always do my sigs in 200-600 and after everyting i draw i go back to normal to see how it does.

You'll get more accurate advice if you post a sig 300x150 since what you want is info on how to make a good sig (which is 300x150). Giving advice on how to improve a sig of that stature could not help you in big sig making.

I think if i tried to work any bigger than that then it would mess up.... i tried to do sig image a few times but they never work out..

ill give it a shot.... if it works out ill post it... if not ill make an excuse up why i couldnt do it.

I guess its nice, can't really say anything until its finished.

yea, ill probably put it as my avatar... though it wasnt meant for avatar or sig... i just put it there so i could ask for advice...

the big picture is going well... for now...

i meant that i zoomed in to do the detail... not to make it look bigger...

waaaaaaaaay too small

way too small to see any flaw...

If you see anything wrong with it, shading, detail, color, or whatever, let me know so I can fix it.

i did it in paint yes. i got the color, opened the custom and dropped the green or blue setting by "4" every line.

Must have taken forever. Even though the shading is nice, it isn't naturally correct. Mountains usually have a dark side and a light side, and slopes in between that give shadows. That is what you should base your lights and darks on. Good job on first try.

it didnt take that long... or atleast it didnt feel like it...

i have no idea how im supposed to go about adding all the complex shading in though... like slopes and stuff... all that was was do a line then follow it over and over until i was done heh..

thats the type of stuff i need help on...

Imagine the 3d shape of the object you want to draw, then put a light source on it to have a rough idea of where the shadows would appear.
