First of all id like to ask whats the deal with the prices with the bows? I have purchased around three for 900k each time. I thought the prices were suposed to drop each time you came back? And what is the use of the dead crystal seeds i get from the bows when they degrade? And in the end is it really worth it to purchase a bow? As oposed to a karils x bow lets say?

Buying new bow cost 900k but when u charge the "dead" seed the price of the charge drop untill it get to 180k per charge.

 

 

 

I find it worth it. I usually get around 60k exp per bow.

 

2.5k "rune arrows" for 180k = 72gp per shot.

Yes, you are not supposed to buy a new bow each time! You talk to Ilfeen(?) and get your crystal seed recharged! That is where the discount comes from each time. A new bow will ALWAYS cost you 900k each time to buy a new one.

Here's the really bad map I made for myself of Lletya to Ilfeen. You recharge the bows by bringing the seeds, lots of cash, some anti poison pots and a little food to Ilfeen, and she'll recharge the seeds into new bows or shields. Price goes down 180K each time.

I am also trying for fire cape...its one nil jad at he moment and my bow was down to 2 by the time I reached him. When I went to charge it I clicked shield by mistake, so been at castlewars trying to run it out all week. Doh!

Yep, lotsa people make the same mistake. My friend bought 3 new bows lol.

you can sell those new bows on teh forum for 900k each. do it if you want ur money back.

its true that they hit harder than rune, after u got the 180k's recharges?

i can get about 50-60 black dragons per charge... thats more than 180k....

I can hit 19 at 80 range, they rock, I only use the mage at Barrows and when doing a clue in the wildy.

 

 

 

If you can afford the initial outlay they are well worth the money, but I do reccomend having it recharged instead of buying a new one.
