I'm looking into going to college for game programming and I've considered maybe applying for a job at jagex but I wouldn't want to leave my family and the jobs seem to pay very little...

most important benefit: gym membership :) that made me laugh, looks like jagex don't wanan be known as fat guys in programing chairs :)

That is a very very low pay bracket to start with but I would assume that it would go up quite fast.

 

 

 

Cambridge is not a cheap place to live and getting a house there would not be easy with that low a pay i have 2 say

I'd love to work for Jagex... I might apply in the future once I've done College and such \

considering im dropping art and design this year thats out for me.... :boohoo: oh well anyway

 

 

 

i guess jagex workers get work satisfaction from it and the cash doesnt matter much :P doing something you like i find is important

search the net for jagex jobs and the examples i gave you are very small compared to some of them

omg i could work for them as i have 'A' levels in media and engineering :shock: :shock:
