Hi, I'm currently lvl 36 rc, and I'm trying to lvl it up.

 

 

 

I bought 5k rune ess, and was planning on using them all on fires, by banking at duel arena, and then teleporting to altar using duelling rings.

 

 

 

Does this sound like a good way to train rc for my lvl?

EDIT: I'm also using small pouch btw, too lazy to get a medium one for 3 extra rune ess per trip..

Worked for me. However if you have an excess of dueling rings, you can use them to bank at castlewars as well to further hasten the process.

 

 

 

And the medium pouch will carry 5 extra ess (6 while taking up 1 space itself), not 3.

Thanks. I meant extra 3, as in I already got a small pouch (3 ess), I could get a medium one (6 ess). Therefore medium pouch would mean 3 more ess per trip, but yeah...

 

 

 

And nah I dont really have excess of duelling rings, only 50.

I personally didn't use the fires method but I have heard that it is a good way to go. One guy even said he made his money back by selling the runes at the end of it. So yeah, I'd say it was a good method.

If you have a small and medium pouch, then you use both.

 

 

 

Watch out, as they still degrade even when used outside the abyss.

 

 

 

PS. Normal or Pure ESS? - Don't waste pure ess on lower runes.

As an aside, even degraded pouches can still carry some runes, just not as many.

 

 

 

And a quick trip to the Zammy mage is worth it when they degrade. You DO NOT HAVE TO BRING YOUR DEGRADED POUCHES TO GET THEM FIXED, so you can get them fixed at no risk and then tele out to reuse.

I method I have never actually tried, but ever considered abyss crafting chaos? You can just walk/run from the altar exit to the bank, and when you got through the chaos rift you end up right next to the dolmen thing, so you don't have to move all through the stupid chaos maze like if you entered through the altar.

Hmmm, no I haven't considered the abyss chaos crafting way, would this be quicker xp than the fires?

Yes but:

 

 

 

a. more risky

 

b. more expensive as chaos requires pure ess. (although you'll probably make your money back selling them)

 

 

 

Also in order to use the abyss with any efficiency you'll be needing at least 5 glory ammys
