June 21, 200620 yr Alright ATM I'm 44 mining. Is iron the fastest way all the way to 85? At what level is it better xp to move to power mining granite instead of iron? Thanks, and please only post if you are 85+ mining or do have knowledge on this.

Now can some one please tell me the level where it is beneficial to go from iron to granite?

No offence, but I get a hint of impatience from your posts which is not going to help when asking people to help you. In answer to your question, mine iron until your about 20 (30 to be real fast) levels above the required level to mine granite (sorry I'm not sure what level that is btw), and then you can really power mine! June 21, 200620 yr if you are looking to 85 mining as a source of money i don't suggest it and i powermined iron till 85 because granite rocks didn't exist then.

You don't need waterskins there. Lover Romeo and Jelly told me that. I'd had previous knowledge of that and didn't ask any questions about this. If a mod would please lock this I'd appreciate it. I'd get more help just asking people in game than bothering with this.
June 21, 200620 yr I am level 81 mining right now and going for 85. I have to say that granite is by far the fastest exp, and it averages around 46,000 an hour depending on the weight (in kgs) of each piece of granite. I would start mining right now (since you're already around 45 anyways) straight to 85. That will take a long time, but it will be worth it in the end. If you can go for about 3 hours every day, it won't be long...
