Question bout whats illegal and wats not

Featured Replies

Ok my mate told me bout a site (wont say his name or sites name) and on it was a whol bunch of dif things you could do

could you plz say which is illegal and which aint

auto fighter, mage etc (puttin down even tho i no r illegal)

world switcher (puts u to ne world no matter if its full or not)

stat shower (u download it then wen u play u can move ur mouse over other players and c there stats)

thats the main 3, others r just more auto things

anything that automatically does something for you is illegal

anything that modifies the rs client is illegal

world switchers are technically allowed because they don't really help you anyway because of the 30 second rule but are not endorsed as they may be keyloggers.

plus there's no such thing as a stat shower, or at least i have never heard of such a thing. probably a keylogger anyway.

as a final note, it is highly risky to download anything related to rs except off the official rs site! so don't do it! Jagex has very good detection software, so if you cheat you will be caught, 100% of the time.

please post in the correct forum next time.

One other comment - I choose to stay away from any of these kinds of things simply because they may be a scam to try and get my account information.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.

I don't trust anything that claims it can give me greater functions in online games, except the ones that I programmed myself.

iligal  and this is a question shouldn't be here really i think :?

i dont know why people say auto fighting and stuff like that is illegal i havent seen jagex send anyone to jail yet..

it is against the rules but not illegal....

alright i would think the auto fighter and the stat showers are illegal but the world switcher no. Although you say it would put you in any world even if it is full or not that is not true. If the world is full it says it is full and wont let you even bring up the load screen for that world. Now some other world switchers might be the way u talked about but not all.

"Stat shower" is usually same as using highscores normally. You have to write the character's name into a textbox.

I don't think it's possible to just move mouse over players and see their stats without having modified client which is against rules.

Don't forget that 90% of "runescape cheaters" are in fact keyloggers and the just nick your account.

stat shower doesent exist and cant be done cuz jagex has that secure so that u couldent jsut do that for anyone in game. so right htere i can tell u this is a scam with key loggers so dotn waste your time on figureing out if its illigal or not
